The date has been a long wait but it is finally here. This Saturday, December 21, 2024, the Valberg ski resort, 1h30 from Nice (Alpes-Maritimes), finally opens its slopes. For its big launch, it offers packages to everyone all day.
Other benefits are planned. Here's what you need to know.
Free packages this Saturday!
After a long wait which was starting to worry, the announcement finally came: Valberg officially opens its ski area this Saturday, December 21, 2024. “And since good news never comes alone, the packages will be free for the opening day,” indicates the family resort on its Instagram account.
The packages are to be collected at the checkouton the main square, on the big day. The opportunity to put on skis without breaking the wallet. From Sunday, daily passes will cost 37 euros per person aged 16 to 61. It will be 18.50 euros for young people up to 15 years old and 29.50 euros for students and seniors from 62 years old.
Please note that from Monday to Friday (excluding school holidays), a package is offered for any package purchased online.
Other surprises on the program
To kick off the season, ESF Valberg-Beuil also offers a group lesson from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Christmas lights will be unveiled at 5:30 p.m. A recital concert by the Alpes-Maritimes Conservatory will take place at 6 p.m. in the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges church.
