Since the start of the season, Caen Handball has benefited from encouragement of a group of students during his home matches. The STAPS Student Office at the University of Caen has joined the ranks of the Palais des Sports and give voice to push the Vikings. After a more than satisfactory start to the season, the club allowed the BDE to have a larger number of places. They will still be a hundred this Friday December 20, 2024 for the derby against Cherbourg.
We are very happy to be able to help set the mood. Every game we are full, and it’s not always the same people. There are regulars, but also people who come once to see.
The derby promises to be hot
Currently 5th in Proligue, Caen HB is preparing to welcome the Cherbourg neighbor in a derby which already promises to be hot. The club has even already marked its territory with the display of a banner in the colors of the Vikings on the road leading to Cherbourg. “It’s already heating up on the networks,” says Timéo Pilard. We’re going to show that we’re at home, we’re going to make some noise. »
Cherbourg will come in force and it will indeed be necessary to make some noise to push the Vikings to victory. For this, the Kop can count on support from the rest of the room who, after a few practice matches, begins to follow the students in their encouragement.
We feel that the room likes the atmosphere and helps to push the team. For the derby, we’ll meet the fans on the Palais des Sports esplanade at 7:15 p.m. precisely. We’re going to throw the party together!
The Vikings will look to win and maintain their invincibility at home. By winning against Cherbourg, 7th, the Caennais would settle even more solidly in the top 5 of Proligue.
