They thought they would slip through the cracks. From December 9 to 13, 2024, nine people have been judged before the Rennes criminal court for having organized large convoys of narcotics between Spain and the .

Up to eight years in prison

In total, nine people were arrested in this case: 53.5 kg of grass
cannabis, 826 grams of cocaine et 412 850 euros “under criminal assets” were seized by the police.

Five people, for having organized numerous road convoys towards Spain, were sentenced to sentences ranging four to eight years in prison.

Among them, two individuals who had held a role of logistical support and money laundererwere sentenced to sentences of one and four years in prison, “partially or totally suspended, and the confiscation of various assets (luxury vehicles, sums recorded in their bank accounts) to the tune of approximately 350,000 euros », explains the public prosecutor.

Finally, the last two defendants, prosecuted for having received or attempted to receive the narcotics upon their arrival in the Rennes regionwere sentenced to 3 years and 18 months’ imprisonment, partially suspended, as well as the confiscation of the vehicles used in the planned transport.
