The two twenty-something brothers-in-law, one Catalan, the other Norman, co-founded the company UFO Planet, established three months ago at Place Rigaud, in Perpignan. This unique fast-food concept offers its UFO burgers (closed and UFO-shaped), as well as corn dogs.
Aged 28 and 29 respectively, Damien Cordier and Mikael Ledoux, a trained chef, work as a family. The two brothers-in-law co-founded their company UFO Planet “un snack restaurant with a brand new concept, unique in the department”, they assure. Similarly attracted by UFOs (UFO is the English acronym for unidentified flying objector unidentified flying object in French) and South Korea, they decided to renew the burger genre. You can discover their eight original varieties on Place Hyacinthe-Rigaud, a stone’s throw from the Mailly campus. Also, these young entrepreneurs offer students a special formula for less than 6 euros. The two brothers-in-law are beginning to build a loyal clientele of local merchants, attracted by the delicious aromas escaping from UFO Planet. Without forgetting the people passing through and the tourists.
“No food exceeds”
The UFO burger therefore consists of a brioche bun in the shape of a “flying saucer”, stuffed with fresh beef, chicken, sausage, cheese or breaded fish, then closed before being flattened during cooking .
“The advantage compared to the classic burger is that no food sticks out, no juice leaks when our UFOs come out of the burger press!”, they demonstrate live.

The seasoning (mustard, mayo, ketchup) is then left to the consumer’s free choice. Apart from UFO burgers, Mikael and Damien also sell corn dogs (sausage fritters on sticks) and wraps.
