Sunday December 15, 2024, around 11:15 p.m., rue du Muguet, near the Brest remand center, police officers from the anti-crime brigade (Bac) arrested, during a road check, two men who were visibly preparing to project drugs over the walls of L’Hermitage prison, using a drone.
Cannabis resin
A search of the vehicle revealed the large drone weighing between four and five kilograms, as well as 134 g of cannabis resin. The two men were transported to commissariat centralrue Colbert, where they were placed in police custody.
The officials of the DEA took up the matter and carried out searches to the homes of suspects, Brest and to Plouvorn. They proved unsuccessful.
The owner of the drone, a 21-year-old Plouvornéen, unknown to the police, allegedly admitted to having been missioned by an unidentified third party to pass a package through the prison using his machine.
