Intrigued by the comings and goings of an individual on the side of rue Père-Ricard, known to house a deal point, in the Kerourien sector, right bank in Brestofficials from a police rescue patrol ended up checking him, not far from there, rue Claude Perrault. The events took place shortly before 3 p.m., Monday December 16, 2024.
Cocaine, cannabis and 5,000 euros
In the man’s bag suspect, the police discovered 18 g of cocaine, 45 g of cannabis resin and a sum of 5 000 euros in cash.
The individual was arrested then taken to the central police station. Having received the case, the narcotics brigade carried out a search of the man’s home, in the Kerourien sector. Where they found nothing.
In police custodythe man reportedly indicated, during his hearing, that he had been given the bag by an unidentified individual. Adding that it was the first time he accepted this. He also disclosed the unlock code from his cell phone in which nothing conclusive was discovered.
12 months’ imprisonment with suspended probation
Brought before the Brest public prosecutor’s office this Wednesday morning, December 18, the 21-year-old from Brest was offered, in appearance on prior admission of guilt (CRPC, so-called guilty plea procedure) a sentence of 12 month of loandetention with suspended probation140 hours of community service (TIG), the obligation to take care of oneself and find work.
