A recognized chef dedicated to the traveler experience
The Bagnard restaurant, created by chef Yoni Saada, is located in the heart of terminal 2 of Nice Côte d’Azur airport. Known for his Parisian restaurants Bagnard and Zaza, Yoni Saada brings his modern vision of Mediterranean cuisine to Nice.
This establishment, carried out by Nice Côte d’Azur airport in collaboration with SSP France, strengthens the airport’s gastronomic offer.
Candice Cadreils, commercial director of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, underlines the importance of this opening:
“We are very happy to welcome the Bagnard brand and with it the Mediterranean cuisine of the famous chef Yoni Saada who brings to our offer a menu of excellence in the colors of our territory. We warmly thank SSP for having made possible the arrival of this new restaurant which we are certain will delight the taste buds of our passengers. »
Mediterranean cuisine revisited
The menu offered by Bagnard highlights Mediterranean flavors revisited with fresh, seasonal products.
Pan bagnat, an emblematic dish of Nice cuisine, is revisited daily, demonstrating the attention paid to local identity.
In addition to the dishes, a selection of Mediterranean groceries is also available, offering travelers an opportunity to extend the culinary experience beyond their time in Nice.
For Yoni Saada, this opening marks an important step in the history of Bagnard:
“For Bagnard’s tenth anniversary, I couldn’t dream of anything better than opening a store in Nice, in the heart of the Mediterranean. This place wonderfully symbolizes the spirit of our creations: sunny and delicious specialties, to be enjoyed in complete relaxation. Pan bagnat, a true icon of Nice, inspires me every day to revisit it with fresh, seasonal and quality products. I am delighted to once again collaborate with SSP to offer cuisine that transcends borders, catering to travelers from all over the world. »
A strategic partnership
This collaboration between Nice Côte d’Azur airport and SSP France is part of a strategy aimed at improving the traveler experience while promoting local culinary heritage. Gérard d’Onofrio, general manager of SSP France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Italy, explains:
