Morocco and Malta reaffirmed their determination to further strengthen their partnership in all areas, on the occasion of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
During a videoconference, held on Wednesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Malta, Ian Borg , praised the excellence of relations between Morocco and Malta, reiterating their common desire to further strengthen them in all areas.
In this regard, the two ministers underlined “the importance of holding the 2nd session of the Moroccan-Maltese Joint Commission in Valletta”, according to the Joint Communiqué published on this occasion.
They agreed to continue the dialogue for the establishment of a “Morocco-EU Strategic Partnership on healthy and solid foundations”. As such, Malta reiterated “its commitment to contributing to the preservation and strengthening of this Morocco-EU strategic partnership at all levels”, continues the Joint Communiqué.
The two ministers took this opportunity to exchange their views on several bilateral, regional and international issues of common interest.
