The Crous of the Versailles Academy, an administrative establishment, is looking for a kitchen assistant for its Centrale Supélec university restaurant located in the town of Gif sur Yvette (91).
Nature of contract: 8-month fixed-term contract (January to August 2025)
Remuneration: 2000 to 2600 gross / month (depending on professional experience in the field)
Mission: Cook and assist the chef he may be called upon to replace.
Main activities:
– Under the authority of the chef, participate directly in the creation of recipes and menus,
– Ensure the production of the VAE of an attached site
– Coordinate and supervise the staff who work in the kitchen and in the different departments,
– In the absence of the chef, replace him,
– Ensure catering activities,
– Assume responsibility for the tasks delegated to him by the chef,
– Participate in and ensure the maintenance of kitchen equipment and premises,
Placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the CROUS of the Academy of Versailles is a public administrative establishment governed by Decree No. 2016-1042 of July 29, 2016 relating to missions and organization academic works. It supports student life in the 4 departments that make up the Versailles academy: Les Yvelines (78), Essonne (91), Hauts-de-Seine (92) and Val-d’Oise (95).
As part of a close partnership with higher education establishments and local authorities, the Crous de Versailles carries out its missions to improve the living conditions of around 230,000 students. In this sense, the establishment supports more than 40,000 scholarship recipients and serves more than 3.5 million meals per year through around sixty restaurants and cafeterias. It has a student accommodation capacity of nearly 10,000 beds spread across 38 accommodation structures.
