At the Montesquieu college in Narbonne, teachers and students interrupted classes for an hour on Monday after a student threatened a teacher during a lesson on freedom of expression and civil liberties.
“Get up, we’re going to kill the teacher!” indicated the student who was speaking to his classmates, according to information from the newspaperIndependent. The teacher, stunned, continued his lesson before warning the head of the school.
The latter sent information to the rectorate and summoned the parents yesterday afternoon. Staff representatives call for immediate sanction and protection of the teacher.

Punch action at the Haute-Garonne departmental council
A few dozen strikers disrupted the plenary session of the Haute-Garonne departmental council yesterday. After about an hour and a half of the session and after several intrusion attempts, these demonstrators caused the session to be suspended.
They are effectively denouncing a plan to cut 400 to 500 full-time equivalent positions over the next year. The President of the departmental council Sébastien Vincini denies this and indicates that the drop in community revenue is forcing him to reduce charges.

Farmers mobilize in Castelnaudary
In Castelnaudary, several dozen farmers mobilized yesterday on a roundabout where they lit a new fire of anger. A combine harvester left on the roundabout during a previous mobilization was also concreted, enough to unofficially rename the roundabout of the A61 motorway to the roundabout of anger.
