Last Sunday, October 6, the Liqui Moly Starligue and Proligue clubs discovered their opponents for the round of 16 of the French National Men's Cup. Among the clubs still in the competition, three playing in Proligue managed to qualify after the round of 16. Thus, Angers SCO Handball, which beat US Ivry by a small goal in the previous round, will host Limoges Handball. Saran Loiret Handball, for its part, will have a hard time facing the finalist of the last edition, Paris Saint-Germain Handball. On the Burgundy-Franche-Comté side, Dijon Métropole Handball will host Saint-Raphaël Var Handball, exempt during the round of 16. Title holders, HBC Nantes will travel to Istres, promoted this season to the Liqui Moly Starligue.
