Françoise Bartolini Belloy, great lady of Nîmes, has passed away

Last Wednesday, November 27, Françoise Bartolini Belloy died at home, following a very long illness. His funeral will take place on Thursday, December 5 at 9:30 a.m. at Saint-Paul Church. Sad news for those who had the pleasure of knowing her (there are many of them) either as a speech therapist, or as a writer, or as an artist.

With a lot of emotion and love, her husband, André Belloy, former president of the Feuchères neighborhood committee, liked to talk about it… He remembers their first meeting thanks to a few words exchanged in all lightness, at the leaving an appointment in front of the tax offices. “Destiny had struck. Thirty-six years of married life, always accomplices in everything.” Françoise Bartolini Belloy was a woman of many talents. She practiced her profession as a speech therapist with children, with rigor and happiness. “She loved them, they reciprocated her.” Their blended family has four children, five grandchildren and many close friends. André Belloy adds that, since he retired very early, they were happy to do everything together. “Françoise, songwriter, took pleasure in sharing her music. When we traveled to concerts, I took a digital piano or other synthesizers with me. There were the painting exhibitions at the Cheval Blanc, the signings with his publisher… “Author of detective novels, including the first, The cost of silencewas published in 2018, she unfolded her stories in the landscapes of her region. André Belloy confides that a final novel was in progress, more personal, more intimate… “Françoise fought the illness with strength and the lively spirit of her sparkling humor which knew how to seize a word and bounce back quickly in a burst of laughter.” Françoise Bartolini Belloy was 80 years old. To his family and loved ones, Midi Libre sends its most sincere condolences.
