An entire district of Angle Bertho, rue de la Pierre-Hamon in Missillac, raises shortcomings in the procedure for the project to install a 5G relay antenna. Claudie and Bruno Marquis, concerned residents, explain their dissatisfaction.

When would this 5G antenna project for Bouygues date back? :

Bruno Marquis : “The declaration of works was signed on August 29, 2024, but the panel was not installed until October. That's when we discovered the project. It is all the more of a surprise that all local residents receive very good reception, even 5G, all operators combined! »

What have you done since then?

“We inquired on the website of the National Frequency Agency about the procedure for a new installation of a relay antenna. It turns out that it is clearly indicated that town halls have a key role in matters of town planning and public exposure to electromagnetic waves and can request the meeting of a departmental consultation body. We therefore sent a letter to Mr. Mayor on October 25 to highlight the lack of consultation with local residents during the authorization request filed by Bouygues, the lack of prior information and the points that we consider damaging (the proximity to our homes, the presence of a farm whose livestock graze in this field, health risks, aesthetic and consequently economic damage). On November 15, we also sent a letter to Bouygues Telecom to let them know that a collective of 57 people had been created against this project, which remained a dead letter… However, we will not give up! “.
