THE land for sale become increasingly rare goods on the coastline in Brittany. And even more at a reasonable price per square meter.
Facing the real estate pressure in the coastal sector, the municipality of Tréveneuc (Côtes-d’Armor) has just launched, on Monday December 2, 2024, the marketing of its new municipal subdivision of 14 lots.
“Avoid real estate speculation”
This municipality of Bay of Saint-Brieuc positioned itself as a developer in order to “control development, land pressure and avoid real estate speculation”.
The objective is also to enable access to property, including for households with moderate incomes.
Located in the Kervalo district, this new subdivision is made up of 14 plots of land to be subdivided: 11 plots of land, with a surface area varying from 300 to 500 m2at a price of €150 per m2, and 3 lots reserved for assisted homeownership, at €125 excluding VAT/m2.
Conditions for applying
Since December 2, applications for the purchase of land are open.
Each candidate can apply for one to three lots, but only one lot will be awarded per application.
The buyers will be selected by a municipal commission which will meet once a month until the lots are exhausted and according to precise criteria. Second home projects and seasonal rental projects are excluded.
The commune of Tréveneuc, through a system of allocation and accumulation of points, will prioritize applications for main residenceTHE first-time buyersresidents already residing in Tréveneuc, households with modest incomes or families receiving a disabled adult allowance.
