On Saturday, November 23, the François 1er association held its annual general meeting in the village hall of Crèvecœur-le-Grand. The opportunity to look back on your successes of the year.
Nearly 70 members were present for the general assembly of the François 1er association, a moment with very regulated formality but which was intended to be very friendly and humorous.
Popular royal festivities
It must be said that the year 2024 was exceptional with more than 100 volunteers who organized a new event on July 6, The Royal Festivities, which replaces the François 1er Festivals interrupted by the 2020 pandemic.
Organized around the town's technical premises, this free event was a great success, thanks to the numerous activities offered for all ages, and continued with a festive meal, a dancing concert and finally a fireworks display.
Building on this success, the François 1er association will renew it in 2025, with certainly an even richer program to celebrate its twenty-five years of existence.
1,444 guests at the François 1er feasts
The other major event of the year was the brand new dinner show, “Une histoire de fous”, which welcomed 1,444 guests out of a possible 1,476 this year, with reservations widely anticipated from the spring by the public. Only a few withdrawals made it possible to obtain places from July.
The new scenario and the new organization of the room were unanimous in a still majestic setting. This show will be offered again in 2025 and pre-reservations are already possible on the association's website which has already recorded 300 pre-reservations without any advertising. We will therefore still have to do it very early in 2025 to ensure that there are places available.
The mayor of Crèvecœur-le-Grand, Aymeric Bourleau, came to congratulate the association for its contribution to the life and image of the town among the public, sometimes coming from outside our region. The president of the Beauvaisis agglomeration, Caroline Cayeux, also came to Crèvecœur-le-Grand to feast this year.
The office has been renewed. President Fabien Bellamy was unanimously reappointed. See you in 2025 to celebrate the anniversary of this dynamic association.
