The alert was given at 5:52 p.m. A car, a Fiat 500 and a truck collided on the D905 in Gevry near Dole Tavaux airport.
Arriving on the scene, emergency services attempted to resuscitate a young 24-year-old driver. The victim ultimately died. The truck driver was shocked and was taken to Dole hospital.
The car would have moved away according to our colleagues from Le Progrès. The gendarmes are responsible for investigating this 39th fatal accident on the roads of Jura.
