Virginie Bourdonnais and Béatrice Hamayon Robert, both state-certified nurses, met through a mutual acquaintance. Their complementary reconversion happened naturally. “We talked over coffee on Wednesday and on Thursday we visited a local. »
Installed since July 2024, the two women share a space not far from the RN12, in Lamballe (Côtes-d’Armor). Although each of them intervenes in a distinct way, the main goal is to ensure the well-being of the patient and to promote comprehensive care in order to help them maintain good health.
Their expertise in nursing and their skills adapted to new practices play an essential role in this process.
Plantar reflexology
Virginie Bourdonnais has been a state-certified nurse since 2006 and worked as a nurse coordinator in nursing homes. She recently refocused her skills assessment on reflexology.
“Foot reflexology causes deep relaxation, contributes to the elimination of toxins, improves blood circulation and facilitates lymphatic drainage,” she describes.
This helps alleviate many daily discomforts, while also contributing to the improvement of problems that can affect sleep. It is digestive support and complementary to heavy treatment.
“I wanted to find a technique that could support people, but differently than pure nursing care. »
The reflexologist wishes to expand her interventions in the professional environment for employees, with the objectives of improving the quality of life at work and preventing MSDs and psychosocial risks.
In the meantime, Virginie has enriched her training with that of Bach Flowers at the French Institute of the same name, because certain flowers can restore emotional balance.
Naturopath Chromatotherapist
Béatrice Hamayon Robert is also a state-certified nurse and practiced privately for many years in Lamballe. Then, she wanted to give her career a new direction.
For two years, Béatrice returned to training to review anatomy, physiology and pathology, while studying a therapy little known to the general public: chromatotherapy. Through color radiation, it complements and improves existing medical treatments.
Béatrice also works at home for people with reduced mobility and especially when pain treatments are not enough.
When we help people with their well-being, it only optimizes health.
Continuing her quest for knowledge, the specialist participates in an olfactotherapy program dedicated to the application of essential oils to help overcome emotional obstacles.
There is no doubt that these two women were made to meet, and they love to emphasize it: “There is no such thing as chance, there are only meetings. »
