They achieved a superb feat this weekend in the French Football Cup.

Saturday, November 30, 2024 in the evening, the amateurs of L'Union Saint-Jean (Regional 1) defeated the FC VersaillesNational 1 club, in the 8th round of the event. Despite the three divisions difference, the Haut-Garonnais won by 2 goals to 1.

AS Monaco in the draw

Barely recovered from their emotions, the Haut-Garonne players experienced a new moment of euphoria. For them, it’s even Christmas before its time.

This Monday, December 2, 2024, the draw gave them one of the most prestigious opponents in France. In the next round, Union Saint-Jean (Regional 1) will face AS Monaco on 3^e current Ligue 1.

A meeting which will be scheduled for the weekend of December 21-22.
