A 38-year-old gendarmerie lieutenant commits suicide in Tréport

A 38-year-old gendarme, Mathieu T., lieutenant at the head of the autonomous territorial brigade (BTA) of Tréport (Seine-Maritime), ended his life at the end of last week, as reported by the association professional Police and citizens. Married, he was the father of three children.

Mathieu T. began his career in the mobile gendarmerie, at the Hyères squadron (), then joined the departmental gendarmerie. He then worked in the brigade of Saint-Claude (Jura), and that of Tréport. After passing the internal officer competition, Mathieu T. joined the National Gendarmerie Officer School (EOGN) in 2019, specifies the magazine The Rise.
