A bus from the Aléop bus company overturned in a ditch this Monday, December 2, 2024 shortly before 9 a.m. He would have overturned while passing a truck on a road in the town of Chazé-sur-Argos (Maine-et-Loire), near Segré, because of a spongy shoulder. The accident did not cause any injuries.

Seventeen young people rescued

The seventeen middle and high school students who were on the bus were going to a school in Segré. The gendarmerie and firefighters intervened to rescue the children, who were prevented from going out because of the blocked doors. They were supported by the regional transport company Aléop.

Bus repairs were still underway at 11 a.m. The Segré motorized brigade and the company's gendarmes intervened with the Departmental Technical Agency.
