The Super Mamie France and Super Mamie Solidarité elections took place this Sunday.
On Sunday December 1, 2024, the city of Nice hosted an event rich in emotions and recognition: the national final of Super Mamie France 2024. Organized under the patronage of the Department of Alpes-Maritimes, with the support of Novotel Nice Center Vieux Nice and the restaurant Le Pois Chiche, this emblematic competition celebrates not only family values, but also the solidarity commitments and the inspiring stories of French grandmothers.
This edition particularly highlighted Martine Carrère, originally from Bagnères-de-Luchon in Haute-Garonne. Already elected Super Mamie Haute-Garonne during the regional selections, she won over the jury and the public with her exceptional commitment to solidarity and social causes. In recognition of her dedication and remarkable actions, she was crowned Super Mamie Solidarité France 2024, an honorary title that celebrates grandmothers involved in altruistic and community actions.
A finale full of diversity and emotions
The event also saw the crowning of Super Granny Île-de-France as Super Mamie France 2024, representing all the participants and their dedication both to their families and the associations they represented.
The candidates, coming from the four corners of France, shared touching stories illustrating their crucial role within their families and their significant contribution to society. Each moment of the election, relayed live on social networks, notably on the official Facebook page of Super Mamie France, was marked by joy, admiration and solidarity.
Martine Carrère, an example of solidarity
Martine Carrère knew how to embody the values of generosity and mutual aid which characterize the title of Super Mamie Solidarité. Through her investment in local actions and her commitment to the most vulnerable, she touched the hearts of the jury and demonstrated that age is never a barrier to action and sharing.
A tribute to French grandmothers
Super Mamie France is much more than a competition: it is a tribute to women who, beyond their role as grandmothers, enrich society through their dynamism, their commitments and their values. This initiative, which has been going on for several years, highlights the importance of celebrating these family and societal pillars.
This month of December, Haute-Garonne can be proud of Martine Carrère, whose exemplary career continues to inspire many generations. Congratulations to all the Super Grannies of France 2024 for their participation and their flawless commitment!
