In my capacity as Departmental Delegate of the Reconquest Party, I have made the decision to resign from my functions this Sunday, December 1st. This carefully considered decision follows in-depth discussions with party members and activists.
During these discussions, I noted that the project of mass remigration of foreigners present in France, although central in official speeches, is not the subject of serious reflection nor of a concrete strategy within the movement.
In reality, the RECONQUEST! Party, led by Éric Zemmour, is part of a long line of weak-willed right-wing parties which, despite powerful speeches during the campaign, fail to make their promises a reality once in power. I am convinced that, even in the event of electoral success, the party will be no exception and will be content, like so many others, with inaction.
My commitment to politics is based on deep convictions and the desire to see firm, courageous and coherent actions emerge in the face of the major challenges facing France. I therefore cannot support a political project that does not take its commitments seriously.
I would like to thank the activists and members for their mobilization and their sincerity during our discussions. Their involvement is precious and must find a cause and a movement that lives up to their aspirations.
This resignation marks the end of a chapter for me, but not that of my commitment to ideas in agreement with my values and those of many French people. I remain determined to defend a clear and ambitious policy, both respectful of the French and capable of responding to the crucial issues of our time.
