A 65-year-old man's life was saved thanks to the responsiveness of his colleagues and the speed of intervention of the emergency services.

Late Friday, November 29, the sixty-year-old was buried while working on a building construction site in Allan. The 5 m deep trench he was in collapsed on him. By a miracle, the first witnesses present on the scene saw the tips of his fingers protruding. They started by trying to free him.

When the Montélimar firefighters, a clearing rescue team, the Montélimar Smur and a nurse arrived on site, only the victim's head was free. The emergency services took over from the victim's colleagues. This significant deployment of resources allowed the sixty-year-old to save his life.

He quickly regained consciousness and his vital prognosis did not appear to be in jeopardy. Seriously injured, emergency services then transported him to the Montélimar hospital center.
