The leader of the rebellious deputies continues her fight for the coming to power of a government of the New Popular Front. This Thursday, November 28, Mathilde Panot considered that censorship by Michel Barnier's government was inevitable.
An unshakeable position. Guest of Franceinfo this Thursday, November 28, Mathilde Panot returned to the “political chaos” which has been affecting the country for several months. The president of the rebellious group in the National Assembly believes “that Emmanuel Macron is responsible” for the latter.
“Today everyone understands that France has a problem and that his name is Emmanuel Macron,” said Mathilde Panot, who took the example of a survey in which “63% of French people questioned were in favor to the resignation of Emmanuel Macron”, if the current government were to fall.
“The Barnier government will fall and there will only be two solutions left for Emmanuel Macron: either appoint Lucie Castets to Matignon, or to leave,” she insisted, adding: “What other solution than to return to the vote when we are in a democratic impasse in which the President of the Republic bears all his responsibility.”
However, if France Insoumise is still united behind Lucie Castets for Matignon, within the NFP not everyone is in agreement with this candidacy, such as for example the socialist deputy and former President of the Republic, François Hollande.
