After more than five hours of searching, the big winners are Thibault, the first to find a dagger, followed by Ilyesse and Charlotte, the Belgian candidate. Jacques and Cécile therefore leave the adventure before being able to participate in the poles. For the last three survivors of the adventure, the big day is approaching. And after the last test broadcast this Tuesday, December 3, they will have to face the final jury made up of their former teammates for the final vote which will elect the winner.

For Ilyesse, who belongs to the very closed circle of the last three candidates, the adventure Koh Lanta had started badly. Barely arrived in the game, the young man was forced to join the cursed island, an isolated and hostile islet from which the participants had to try by all means to escape in order to join one of the two teams. Fortunately for him, he had managed to join the yellow team and finally took his first steps in the game. The young engineer from Seine Saint Denis tells Ciné Télé Revue : “I learned to take charge of myself. I have experienced everything: the storm, the duels, the lack of loved ones, the absence of food, exclusion on the cursed island… Despite everything, if I have to summarize my journey in a single word, I would say ‘perfect ‘. It was my dream adventure.”

After more than thirty days on a desert island, candidates often undergo major physical changes. So, when they find their loved ones, they are often frightened by their condition. Ilyesse was no exception to the rule. In the same interview, he talks about his return to his parents. “When I came back from filming, I didn’t immediately go to the hairdresser and barber: my parents were shocked to discover me like that” describes Ilyesse before continuing about the difficulty of keeping the secrets of her participation: “When we watch the show together on TV, they try to tell me about my journey, but I don’t reveal anything because I hate spoilers. When I was landed on the cursed island, they were sad for me. Koh Lanta is even harder than I imagined.”
