They also hung boots on the panels at the entrance to the commune. At the invitation of agricultural unions FDSEA and JA 49of the farmers took new action in Maine-et-Loire on November 27 to express their anger and concern about the future of their profession.
“Full of administrative paperwork”
The aim of the operation was to show “the profession is fed up with administrative paperwork and standards that are still too restrictive”, explain the unions. Farmers hung bunches on the entrance or exit signs of the communes as Daumeray, Rochefort-sur-Loire or Les Ponts-de-Cé.
Lights were also lit on various roundabouts throughout the department.
This mobilization was the second act after the demonstration against the Mercosur. Nearly 150 farmers gathered on November 20, 2024 on the Verdun bridge in Angers (Maine-et-Loire).
