The Investigation Chamber of the Court of Appeal confirmed the order extending the pre-trial detention of Marie- Dambry. She is suspected of murder of a vulnerable person. A case which dates back to 2014 in .

Marie-France Dambry remains behind bars. This 71-year-old woman, indicted in May 2023 for murder of a vulnerable person, had requested her release at the end of November before the Toulouse Court of Appeal at the end of November.

Jérôme Pujol, 54, was found dead in a pool of blood at his home in Albi on Monday June 2, 2014. The Albigensian investigation into the causes of death then concluded that it was an accident or an undetermined natural cause. Understandably, Marie-France Dambry, who presented herself as a doctor and close to the victim, had not been worried.

Two years after the death of Jérôme Pujol, his daughters requested the relaunch of investigations and filed a complaint for manslaughter. Well known to the justice system and having already spent several stays in prison, Marie-France Dambry was finally arrested in May 2023.

The Toulouse public prosecutor's office will now request the referral of Marie-France Dambry to the Tarn Assize Court for murder of a vulnerable person. She faces life imprisonment.
