The town of L’Étang-Bertrand (Manche) has finally found electricity after being plunged into darkness since Saturday November 23, 20242 p.m. A breakdown which hit residents hard, leaving some without power for 72 hours.

Michel Lechevalier, the mayor of the town, expresses palpable relief: “Enedis has brought in generators for the entire town. No more residents should find themselves in the dark this evening. We finally find the smile again. »


“Everything is back to normal”

During these three days of interruption, the teams of Enedis have increased efforts to locate the cause of the problem, but without immediate success. Finding the fault proved complex: “it was very painful for everyone. But now everything is back to normal. »

The return to normal was possible thanks to the installation of generators, thus making it possible to restore electricity throughout the town. “It’s a relief,” exclaims the mayor, “even if the outage lasted longer than expected, the main thing is that everything is now restored. »
