Since 2019, L’Asso’s Épicée “Generator of Musical Pleasure”, has been offering an event at the beginning of July around the now famous “Chicken Festival”.
After an edition dedicated to brass instruments in 2022 and a detour to the gates of Mexico in 2023, the Chicken returns “in da Place” to celebrate the start of summer with you!
“in da PLACE” of the Republic in Carbonne on July 6!
An essential place in Carbonne life, the Place de la République, or “Préau” (depending on your point of view), is at the very heart of the city.
You can enjoy an afternoon in the shade of its plane trees to recharge your batteries before the start of the festivities.
Programme:
At 4:00 p.m. – Opening of the beer and fruit juice bar – Artisanal ice cream stand – Public play area for children
At 5:00 p.m. – “Look, but look”, Theatre-Action by the Tohu Bohu Collectif (45min)
At 6:30 p.m. – The Gal’Axes, Pop Rock, winners of the Tremplin Musical Jeunes 2024
At 7 p.m. – Ensemble Les Diatoniks, Blues, Jazz, Latino…and many more!
At 8pm – Sambadaqui, Samba do Brazil
At 9 p.m. – It’s Us (Rita Macedo and Ange b.), Occitan – Brazilian singing and rap
At 10:30 p.m. – Bamako Bogota, Afro/Latino and electro DJ sets
