The first round of the 2024 legislative elections has given its verdict in Clermont-Ferrand.
Three left-wing candidates, one RN, the two outgoing MPs in unfavorable ballots… Here is who has qualified for the second round this Sunday, July 7 in the 1st constituency of Puy-de-Dôme.
The 1st constituency (Clermont-Cournon):
- Marianne Maximi (New Popular Front, LFI): 38,14% (20,841 votes)
- Louis Clément (RN): 27.50% (15,025 votes)
- Hervé Prononce (Horizons): 24.08% (13,156 votes)
Abstention : 33,07%.
The outgoing NFP MP is doing very well and is expected to retain her seat.
Thank you to this magnificent militant force which has been deployed for 3 weeks throughout the constituency. Activists, residents, we have 1 week left to convince that the program of the new Popular Front is that of social progress in the face of the hate speech of the RN.
Horizons candidate could hold on
In the event of a triangular, the candidate of the presidential majority who came third would have to withdraw. Which does not seem to be the case in the 1st constituency of Puy-de-Dôme where Prononce should hold on.
