The Maison des Adolescents et des jeunes adultes de l’Aude recently organized an open day in their new premises located at 10 rue Alfred de Musset in Carcassonne.
The Maison des Adolescents de l’Aude (MDA11) organized an open day at their premises in Carcassonne. This space is dedicated to welcoming, listening and supporting adolescents aged between 11 and 21 as well as their families in an anonymous, confidential and free manner. “Our teams welcome, listen to and support young people when they experience difficulties or when they may be victims of domestic or school violence”explains Michel Bonnery, President of the PEP11 association.

On this occasion, the MDA11 and the association Pupilles de l’Enseignement Public de l’Aude (PEP11) were able to officially inaugurate the new premises built in November 2023 and located near the Paul Sabatier high school, but also celebrate the opening of an Information space for Affective Life and Contraception. “We are delighted to write this new chapter in our history with the move to this new space, opening up possibilities, in particular with the creation of our Point Infos Vie Affective et Contraception. These initiatives reinforce our commitment to adolescents in Aude by offering them comprehensive support to navigate through the challenges of adolescence and build themselves,” says Christelle Hortala, director of the Maison des Adolescents de l’Aude.
