Marine Rosset, Jean Laussucq and Gilles Le Gendre came first in the first round of the legislative elections this Sunday, June 30 in the 2nd constituency of Paris.

Marine Rosset came first in the first round of the legislative elections in the second constituency of Paris: the candidate Nouveau Front Populaire obtained 33.40% of the votes.

In the second round, she will face Jean Laussucq (Ensemble), who came second with 23.62% of the vote, and Gilles Le Gendre (DVC), who finished third with 19.62%. There will therefore be a three-way race in the second round, with these three candidates.

Gilles Le Gendre, outgoing deputy for this 2nd constituency of Paris, was not invested by the presidential party Renaissance. However, he was able to count on the support of the former president of the National Assembly Yaël Braun-Pivet.

It was Jean Laussucq, close to Rachida Dati, who was appointed to officially represent the presidential camp.

During the 2022 election, Gilles Le Gendre, Ensemble candidate, came first in the first round with 35.66%, ahead of Marine Rosset (Nupes) at 27.27%.

In the second round, Gilles Le Gendre was elected with more than 63% of the votes, ahead of candidate Nupes (36.61%).

What were the results during the Europeans?

As a reminder, during the European elections of June 9, the Renaissance list of Valérie Hayer came first in this constituency with 23.89% of the votes, ahead of the PS-PP list of Raphaël Glucksmann (22.08%) and that LR of François-Xavier Bellamy (14.65%).
