Figeac. Local mission: a last rather relaxed workshop

This Thursday, June 27, the Mission Locale de Figeac offered a final workshop before the summer to the young people aged 16 to 25 that it supports. The event was held at the Cap Nature park in Figeac, where two activities were offered: archery and for a more physical side, an orienteering race. The picnic was offered by the Mission Locale, and allowed to share a good time. It was a day very rich in emotions, and marked by the discovery of sports practices, arousing sharing and good humor.

As part of the Youth Engagement Contract (CEJ) scheme, the Local Mission organises workshops throughout the year on various themes, once a week, for a day or half a day. Young people can take part in activities on housing, health, culture, cooking and job search techniques. These workshops are led by advisors or external partners in the form of debates, various games and discussions. Through these activities, young people reconnect socially and enrich their knowledge and skills. In addition to these workshops, the young people supported can take part in work placements to deepen their knowledge of the world of work and discover various professions and professional sectors.

For more information on the support systems offered to young people, contact the Mission Locale de Figeac by telephone on 05 65 34 24 81.
