Just over two months after the first incident, three more military horses escaped on Monday 1 July in the streets of London.

New panic in the streets of London. Three military horses of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment “escaped the control of their riders” on Monday, July 1, the British Ministry of Defense announced.

While six riders were training in the morning, the animals escaped after being spooked by a bus. During their escape of several hundred meters, one horse hit a London taxi, as evidenced by a dashcam video shared on social networks.

Two soldiers and two horses injured in April

The three horses were later recovered “quickly and safely”, although one of them was “slightly” injured. No soldiers were injured.

The British Ministry of Defence also clarified that horses were not involved in the previous incident on April 24, when four horses were frightened by the noise of a construction site and fled.

In several videos, a horse was seen running bloodied in the city center. Two injured animals were later treated for medical reasons, while two soldiers were hospitalized with minor injuries.
