The National Rally candidate unites more than 52% of the votesfar ahead of the New Popular Front candidate, Katy Guyot (23%). In 2022, Nicolas Meizonnet won in the second round, ahead of Yvan Lachaud, candidate of the presidential majority (56% of the vote).
This time, from the first round, the RN candidate gathered 34,427 votes: that’s… 12,000 more than two years ago.
In this tidal wave, several municipalities stand out: more than 65% of the votes for the Rassemblement National candidate in Vestric-et-Candiac, 60% in Uchaud, 53% in Vauvert, nearly 58% in Saint-Laurent d ‘Aigouze, 56% in Saint-Gilles, 52% in Générac and 57% in Grau-du-Roi.
