Geneviève Lemoine
For Lutte Ouvrière, 1.75%: “Those who voted for us expressed their rejection of the RN camp, the Macronist camp and the left. In the second round, there is no more choice. They are only enemies of the workers. There is no question of voting for the Macronist camp, nor for the RN, an anti-worker party which, in power, would attack our class brothers. We are not giving instructions. Our voters are free to vote for a left-wing candidate, if they deem it necessary, or to abstain. What matters, for the future, is the capacity of the working class to resume the fight and to unite against the political puppets and especially against the big bosses who pull the strings.”
Brice Larèpe
For the New Popular Front and La France Insoumise, 21.32%: “I am disappointed, obviously. When you run for election, it is to win. This is not the case. [Le second tour ?] I think it’s very clear. Jean-Luc [Mélenchon] said it very well: in the event of RN in first place and us in third position, we withdraw. That’s what I’m doing tonight.”

For the National Rally, 40.81%: “We see that the Nivernais want change. I appeal to left-wing voters, faced with the probable and quite lamentable withdrawal of LFI, to support my candidacy. I would like to ask them the question: do they really want to continue three more years with Emmanuel Macron With what that means in terms of antisocial policy: past unemployment insurance reform, future unemployment insurance reform? and pension reform, which are just appetizers?”
