The first round of early legislative elections took place this Sunday, June 30. In the second constituency of Allier, Jorys Bovet (RN), Louise Héritier (NFP) and Romain Lefèbvre (LR) are qualified for the second round. A look back at the results in the three largest towns in the constituency: Montluçon, Domérat and Commentry.

The first round of the early legislative elections took place this Sunday, June 30. In the second constituency of Allier, voters had the choice between seven candidates: Jory Bovet for the National Rally, Romain Lefèbvre for Les Républicains, Louise Héritier for the new Popular Front, Alice Gonçalves for Reconquête, Nicolas Rousseaux claimed to be a National Rally, Laurence Vanceunebrock for the MoDem and Bernard Lebel for Lutte Ouvrière.

At the end of this first round, Jorys Bovet (RN), Louise Héritier (NFP) and Romain Lefèbvre (LR) came first in the votes and qualified for the second round. But what score did they make in the three largest municipalities in the district: Montluçon, Domérat and Commentry?

In Montlucon

The participation rate for this first round was 64.04%.

The national dynamic is confirmed in the city on the banks of the Cher. The outgoing deputy, Jorys Bovet (RN) received 29.53% of the votes (3,786 votes). But Louise Héritier (NFP) is not far behind him with 29.28% (3,754 votes). Romain Lefèbvre (LR) finished third with 18.91% (2,425 votes).

Laurence Vanceunebrock (MoDem) only obtains 13.59%, Nicolas Rousseaux (claimed RN) 6.07%, Bernard Lebel (LO) 1.51% and Alice Gonçalves (REC) 1.12%.

At Domerat

The participation rate for this first round was 65.12%.

And as in the entire constituency, Jorys Bovet (RN) came in first with 36.46% (1,590 votes), followed by Louise Héritier (NFP) with 23.02% (1,004 votes) and Romain Lefèbvre (LR) with 17.31% (755 votes).

Laurence Vanceunebrock (MoDem) obtains 14.54% of the votes, Nicolas Rousseaux (claimed RN) 6.56%, Bernard Lebel (LO) 1.47% and Alice Gonçalves (REC) 0.64%.

In Commentry

The turnout is slightly lower than in Montluçon and Domérat. For this first round, 60.29% of voters went to the polls.

And again, the order of the candidates is the same. Jorys Bovet (RN) is still in the lead with 36.97% (986 votes), then Louise Héritier (NFP) with 23.21% (619 votes), Romain Lefèbvre (LR) with 18.30% (488 votes), Laurence Vanceunebrock (MoDem) with 10.99%, Nicolas Rousseaux (claimed RN) with 7.69%, Bernard Lebel (LO) with 1.84% and finally Alice Gonçalves (REC) with 1.01%.
