Five days with 30,000 spectators: John will welcome again 150,000 festival-goers this summer. With a second consecutive sold-out edition, Beauregard is establishing itself as an unmissable event of the French musical landscape. From July 3 to 7, 2024, 41 groups and artists will perform in Hérouville, near Caen (Calvados). And it starts this Wednesday, with a exceptional concert by David Guetta.

30,000 tickets sold in 1h30

Just as we were beginning to get used to the idea that there would be no Day Before in 2024, the news broke at the very beginning of March: David Guetta was joining the Beauregard lineup.

The announcement of his arrival quickly provoked a craze like the festival had never known before. The 30,000 tickets to see his performance sold out in 90 minutes, never seen for the team at John!

It must be said that it has been more than 15 years since The French DJ reigns supreme on the world electro scene. Each of his new titles is a bomb that ignites the crowds. And the sales follow, with more than 50 million records sold since the beginning of his career.

“The most popular DJ in the world”

Now aged 56, he made a name for himself in the trendy clubs of Paris in the early 2000s. In the summer, he headed to Ibiza, where he quickly became a figure in the lively nightlife of this island in the Spanish Balearic archipelago.

His innate talent for composing catchy beats allows him to cross the Atlantic, where he multiplies collaborations with renowned artists: Kelly Rowland, Akon, Sia, etc.

His international reputation is made and he was even named “the most popular DJ in the world” by DJ Mag magazine in 2023!

“Huge open-air dancefloor”

This Wednesday, July 3, in Hérouville, the organizers of Beauregard are counting on him to deliver “an incredible show” that will transform “the castle park in a huge open-air dancefloor”.

For the occasion, he will be preceded by Swedish star Zara Larsson. A pop phenomenon with global hits, she shares several hits with David Guetta (This One’s For You, On My Love). Logically, she should then join him on stage to perform them…

Before that, John wanted to once again highlight the Normandy scene, with Caen’s Maddy Street. Winner of the Audience Award of the John’s Session In 2023, this real ball of energy will be the very first artist scheduled this year.
