The RN is leading the first round of these national legislative elections, Sunday, June 30. According to initial estimates, Marine Le Pen’s party won 33% to 34% of the vote. The Popular Front came in second, with 28% of the vote, ahead of Ensemble, which won 20% to 21% of the vote. The vote was marked by a turnout rate unprecedented since 1978: 59.39% of voters turned out at 5 p.m. in France, compared to 39.4% in the 2022 legislative elections.
