10:55 p.m. – Definitive: In Nancy-2, Stéphane Hablot in the lead for the New Popular Front

In the 2nd constituency of Meurthe-et-Moselle, NFP candidate Stéphane Hablot (NFP) came in first with 39.91%, followed by Emmanuel Lacresse (Ensemble), with 30.74% of the vote. Geneviève Maillot (RN) came third with 22.45%.

10:25 p.m.: Final: outgoing MP Laurent Jacobelli in the lead in the 8th constituency of Moselle

In the 8th constituency, the outgoing MP Laurent Jacobelli (RN) is in the lead after the first round (46.36%). He is followed by the NFP candidate Céline Léger (28.98%). In third place, the Ensemble candidate Samuel Zonato (15.72%) can qualify for the second round, but has announced his withdrawal for the second round to block the National Rally.

In the 3rd constituency of Moselle, the three political blocs are hot on their heels. But it is the RN candidate Victor Chomard who comes out on top with 35.32% of the vote. Dominique Bilde (RN) comes in first place with 43.70% of the vote. In second place is the incumbent Thibault Bazin (LR) who has 33.21% of the vote. We will again see a three-way race with the left-wing candidate Barbara Bertozzi-Bievelot who qualifies with 20.59% of the vote.

9:32 p.m. – Definitive: the RN in the lead in the 3rd constituency of Meurthe-et-Moselle

In the 3rd, the RN candidate Frederic Weber comes first with 43.46% of the votes. He is followed by the outgoing Martine Etienne (NFP) who records only 28.49% of the votes. They are joined by the presidential majority candidate Valerie Maurice (17.98%).

9:30 p.m. – Final: advantage to Dominique Potier in the 5th constituency of Meurthe-et-Moselle

In the 5th constituency of Meurthe-et-Moselle, the outgoing MP Dominique Potier comes out on top (43.47% of the vote). He will face the candidate Louis-Joseph Pecher (Les amis de Ciotti, 30.45%).

9:10 p.m. – Final: Alexandre Loubet re-elected in the first round in the 7th constituency of Moselle

In the 7th constituency of Moselle, Alexandre Loubet will not need a second round: he is re-elected as deputy with 53% of the votes. Luc Muller (NFP) and Yasmine Selmani (Ensemble) come far behind with 18%.

8:55 p.m. – Final: Océane Simon (RN) in the lead in the 4th constituency

RN candidate Océane Simon comes first in the first round in the 4th constituency of Moselle (42%). She is ahead of Fabien Di Filippo, the outgoing LR deputy, at 35%. It will be a duel in the second round because the third candidate, Hélène Girardot, does not receive, with 11%, a sufficient number of votes to qualify for the second round.

8:35 p.m. – Definitive: in the 6th constituency of Moselle, Kevin Pfeffer well in the lead

In the 6th constituency, Kevin Pfeffer came in first with 50% of the vote according to the prefecture. This is a failure for the mayor of Forbach, Alexandre Cassaro, who came in second with 21% of the vote. This is the same level as the NFP candidate Claire Bladt (21%).

8 p.m. – The National Rally would come out on top in the first round

According to an initial estimate by the Ifop polling institute for TF1 and LCI, the National Rally came out on top in this first round of the legislative elections with 34.2%. The New Popular Front came second (29.1%). Next came the presidential majority (21.5%) and Les Républicains (10%). Turnout was reportedly 67%.

At 5 p.m., the participation rate in the first round of the legislative elections in 2024 in Moselle is estimated at 56.61%. For comparison, in 2022 at 5 p.m. in Moselle, this participation rate was 32.41%. For mainland France in 2022 at 5 p.m., this participation rate was 39.42%.

5 p.m. – Strong turnout in the polling stations of Meurthe-et-Moselle

At 5 p.m., the participation rate was 54.39% in the legislative elections in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle. Much higher participation at the same time than in the 2022 legislative elections: the participation rate at the same time was 36.23% according to the prefecture of Meurthe-et-Moselle.
