Brahimi and Belaïd play but…

If Zineddine Belaïd can rejoice at finally having playing time in Belgium and Billal Brahimi being an executive in his team, their club had a nightmarish day.

Armed with a central Belaïd – who was also making his second start in the Pro League – and a right winger Billal Brahimi, Saint-Trond presented himself on the pitch of Cercles Bruges with ambitions, especially following a good victory against Mechelen (2-1) before the international break.

The reality was quite different. It was a real slap in the face that the STVV took (7-0!), completely crushed by their opponent and in particular Christos Tzolis, author of a quadruplet. The Trudon left side collected the worst marks and Belaïd did not was the worst defender, far from it, winning almost all of his aerial duels (5/6).

Billal Brahimi, on the other hand, was very little visible, which was not his habit in Belgium. Disappointingly, he was one of three players replaced at the break and while Sint-Truiden was already losing 3-0. With this defeat, STVV is 12th out of 16.
