The first round of early legislative elections took place this Sunday, June 30.
In the 11th constituency of Pas-de-Calais, Marine Le Pen was elected in the first round.

Marine Le Pen has regained her seat in the National Assembly without a hitch. The three-time presidential candidate for the National Rally came out on top in the first round in the 11th constituency of Pas-de-Calais, which notably covers her stronghold of Hénin-Beaumont. The outgoing far-right MP, running for re-election, received 58.2% of the vote, according to provisional results at 8 p.m. A score that exempts her from a second round.
As a reminder, to qualify for the second round of the legislative elections, you had to gather the votes of more than 12.5% of registered voters (and not voters). If only one candidate fulfilled this condition, the candidate having obtained the greatest number of votes after him also remained in the second round. If a candidate wins more than half of the votes, he or she is elected in the first round, as is the case for Marine Le Pen.
