In the coming days, downtown will get into the spirit of the end of year celebrations. As with every approach of winter, the largest city in the Oise puts in place a whole host of activities over several weeks to amaze its inhabitants!

For almost a month, from Friday 6 to Tuesday 31 December 2024, the Christmas Fairies will immerse Beauvais residents in the magic of the end of the year. Find out what's planned.

Christmas market on Place Jeanne-Hachette

Like every year, the traditional Christmas market will once again be invited to Place Jeanne-Hachette. The chalets will be out to welcome several dozen artisanal creators, to discover cosmetics, knitting or crochet creations, candles, driftwood decorations and even natural stone jewelry.

But also certain cabins where you can enjoy and warm up around a mulled wine, hot chestnuts or winter dishes. Or stock up on good products like sausages, beers, terrines, artisanal cheeses or honey for your holiday meals.

Vintage roller rink and Santa

During this period, Beauvais residents will also be able to find the vintage roller rinka big novelty from last year, and other little rides. It will also be possible to meet Santa Claus.

But what residents look forward to most are the magical evenings, those that make little ones dream and take adults back to childhood. The show will be there during the inaugural evening of Friday December 6with a “legendary” performance on the program, with dancers and acrobats, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Place Jeanne-Hachette.

Then a fireworks fired at 9:30 p.m. on the Bridge.

The big parade on Saturday December 21

Before the big Christmas paradean event that attracts crowds to the streets of Beauvais, the Saturday December 21 next, from the Jules Ferry school, to Place Jeanne-Hachette, with Pégase, a large white horse with silver wings, from the Planète Vapeur company.

A magical spectacle that will light up the largest city in the Oise. Many musicians, actors, dancers and even elves will be waiting for you there!
