After its beautiful silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the French basketball team has been wearing warm-up blue for a week as part of the qualifiers for Euro 2025 which will be held in Latvia, Cyprus, Finland and Poland from August 27 to September 14, 2025. On this occasion, Frédéric Fauthoux took charge of the group for the first time after succeeding Vincent Collet, manager since 25 years old. The new coach won for his first time on the bench, Thursday November 21, in Cyprus (59-75).
A success which allowed the Blues, without their NBA stars and with many young people, to retain the lead of their group with a third success in as many matches, while they once again welcome the Cypriot red lantern on Sunday November 24 in Poitiers .
