Florian and Lola began their love story in the famous show “L’amour est dans le pré”. Today, the two lovers have created their own brand of popcorn using corn grown on Florian's farm in Creuse. They tell this beautiful adventure to Géraldine Mayr in “C’est la vie”.
“It’s all positive”: the success of Florian and Lola’s popcorn
Florian is a Limousin cow breeder and since September, he has been making popcorn. He grew corn by the shovel for his cows. But creating snacks? It was rather unusual for the former candidate of “Love is in the meadow”. However, his partner, Lola, suggests that he try. The couple embarks on the adventure.
“Pop Creuse” is the name of this popcorn that is a hit in Creuse: Curry, cinnamon, sugar and recently, chocolate, an additive-free sweetness that appeals to young and old with growing demand.
“Many customers ask for more, saying that the popcorn was really good”rejoices Florian, “It’s all positive”. A sweet treat that can be bought in Limousin, and on the website for those who are curious.
Next stop for the couple: the “ADP Tour”, these markets which bring together the farmers participating in “L’amour et dans le pré”: in Corrèze, Brittany and Lyon.
