Saturday evening, TF1 dominates the competition with the “Germany – Denmark” match, round of 16 of the European Nations Championship. The match commented by Grégoire Margotton and Bixente Lizarazu brought together 4.26 million football supporters on average. The Germans’ victory by 2 goals to 0 against Denmark was thus followed by 26.1% of viewers aged four and over (4+). The chain is the leader in the female commercial target with a market share of 32% among women responsible for purchases under the age of fifty.
For comparison, last Saturday, Euro 2024 allowed M6 to attract 2.87 million athletes ahead of “Belgium – Romania” (16.5% 4+).

This prime-time success saves the furniture for the private channel, which records a daily audience share of 18.8%. The Tour de France boosts France 2, which will benefit from its sports programming all summer long. Yesterday, the public channel was watched by 18.2% of viewers. France 3 follows with 11.3% audience share.
Far behind, M6 is fourth with 4.8% daily audience share, ahead of France 5 (3.3% 4+), Arte (2.5% 4+) and C8 (2.2%).

“Fort Boyard” launches slowly

France 3 ranks second with the rebroadcast of “Meurtres à Blois”, directed by Elsa Bennett and Hippolyte Dard. The detective story led by Olivier Marchal and Anne Charrier kept 2.93 million crime fans on the edge of their seats, in viewing figures according to Médiamétrie. The audience share stands at 17.1% of those aged four and over (4+).
Last Saturday, “Meurtres à Pont-Aven” also in rerun dominated the competition, bringing together 3.30 million people (18.3% 4+).

France 2 follows with the launch of the 35th season of “Fort Boyard”, the summer game show hosted by Olivier Minne. For this first episode, Elie Semoun formed a team with Damien Pauwels, Jimmy Mohamed, Léa François, Nina Métayer, Guillaume Daret and Aurélie Konaté. 2.07 million fans of Père Fouras followed their adventure, or 12.9% of individuals aged four and over present in front of their screens last night.
Last year, “Fort Boyard” attracted 2.40 million people, or 15.7% audience share.

As for other channels, France 5 is doing well with “Echappées belles”, the escape magazine. Sophie Jovillard brought 722,000 tourists on board for a “Return to Thailand”, which represents 4.2% of viewers from 9:05 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Last week, the special issue dedicated to the Paris Olympics disappointed with only 499,000 curious people gathered.

M6 is far from the million with the rebroadcast of the fiction “Scènes de domestic: La vie de château”. The sketches of Huguette and Raymond, Liliane and José and Emma and Fabien entertained 684,000 French people on average, or 3.9% of the entire public.
Last March, the previous prime of the daily series “Scènes de households & Friends” entertained 1.69 million viewers in prime-time, or 8.5% of the public and 14.8% of the FRDA-50.
