In Feuquières, Ethan was attacked by a 46-year-old man known to the police according to his mother. She asks the victims to break the silence.
Friday, November 15, it was between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. when Ethan, a 16-year-old young man, was attacked, according to his mother, by Benoît (first name changed), a 46-year-old from Feuquiérois.
While Ethan is playing football with his friends at the city stadium, the man approaches him and grabs him by the hood before punching him and throwing him to the ground.
A man known in Feuquières
His son's attacker is well known to Ethan and his mother. She explains:
“A friend of Ethan's wanted to give his mother a gift. So this man lent him money. But a week later he was already asking for it, even though the young man could not repay it. My son Ethan then offered to help him and agreed to pay him back. What he hadn't done when this man, already known to the police, saw them at the city stadium and attacked my son.”

Ethan escaped with superficial injuries: bruising and pain, but he did not have an X-ray when he came to the Montdidier hospital.
On the other hand, his attacker would have, according to Ethan's mother who immediately informed the police, “spent 48 hours in police custody this weekend before being placed at the CHI in Clermont“.
She adds:
“I have been in Feuquières since the end of March. We come from Breteuil and have never seen this. Apparently he has already been in trouble for sexual assault and attempted murder. When he hit Ethan he told him that his friends from Creil were going to take care of him. I've seen him zigzag on his bike before and I think he's on drugs. During the search they found cannabis in his home. But the problem is that his victims don't speak. They must come forward to support our complaint and stop these actions..”

They remain suspicious
Fortunately, she emphasizes, that Ethan's friend who was going to ask for help had the presence of mind to film the scene, and that his daughter took Ethan's scarred face in photo.
“Moreover, the Grandvilliers gendarmes explained the process to us very well and provided support for filing a complaint.“, she specifies.
If he is not afraid to go out, the young man still remains accompanied by friends. He found his way back to school at EREA in Crèvecœur-le-Grand on Tuesday, November 19. “He doesn't sleep well but school will make him think of other things. Then the EREA takes care of him very well.”
However, his mother remains no less suspicious. “I was told to be wary of Benoît's son* so I warned my other children to be careful and my oldest went to see him to let justice take place.“
