It was the first time that this competition format was tested at the Natural Games, under the Millau Viaduct.

The Millau Viaduc bikepark was the ideal place for a new competition format to be born, the Natural games. Enduro mountain biking had already made its appearance but this time, it involved combining several formats, including the last without a chain, with the same bike.

From the start of the day, the competitors covered the traditional DH of Millau, where the competition organized by the CSO had taken place in March. Then, they continued on enduro-type courses, with new sections, opened for the occasion.

The pumptrail without chain

Once the two trails were traced, they moved on to the new feature of this bikepark, the pump trail line. A path dotted with bumps, smoother than the natural Caussenard paths. But for the latter, the pilots were deprived of their chain. Taken off at the start, they highlighted their pumping qualities on the bike to give it speed. For the latter, they did not escape the storm which passed over the city of the glove and ended up on a wet track. In the end, it was Arnaud Garanger who won ahead of Amaury Mangin and Tom David. Angèle Dominice was the only one entered and did not suffer from the competition in this event.

The youngsters also had their competition with the pupil and benjamin categories who rode on the DH kids course, marked out this year. The Millavois CSO were in the spotlight.
