The best surprises are the ones you least expect. This is the case for this pastry-tea room, Noham, located in the heart of Valmy.

The front is small, but inside there is a large room with exposed stone walls, high ceilings and a hanging armchair that makes you want to take your time.

But it is above all its pastries, pastries and its savory offerings which completely seduced us. Imagined as a place of life, Noham offers a savory and sweet offering at any time of the day.

Starting in the morning at 7 a.m. with plump pastries with impeccable puff pastry, as well as the house specialty: bostocks, delicious French toast-style brioches.

There are also the cheesecakes and the carrot cake which caught our eye. But at lunchtime, we bit into a “tartine”, whose simple title does not do justice to its delicate taste and elegant presentation.

The crispy puff pastry (which does not crumble) is filled with cream cheese and salmon mousseline, all topped with smoked salmon, raspberries and sesame seeds. A pure delight. Just like the lemon meringue and basil tart. A paradise for foodies.
