29/6/24 – Acquisition – Rennes, Museum of Fine Arts – Thanks to the generosity of our readers, theSelf-portrait (ill. 1) for which we had launched a subscription in association with the Safeguarding of French Art (see the news item from 13/6/23 which will be acquired by the Museum of Fine Arts in Rennes. We were indeed able to bring together in one week the €4,500 necessary to acquire it from its owner, a descendant of the artist’s family.
